Recover 12 shipwrecks in front of Libyan coasts

Last night the ships of the Mare Nostrum device were informed by the merchant ship Seyit Ali, of Turkish flag, about the presence of a semi-sunken rubber boat about 40 miles from the Libyan coasts.

The naval units of the navy and the port authorities immediately headed towards the marked point, managing to recover and save 12 people.

The research is still underway by the corvette Sfinge (photo).
