Today the Chief of Staff of the Navy, Admiral Enrico Credendino visited commands and entities of the Armed Force in the cities of Catania and Augusta.
Welcomed to second air core of the Coast Guard of Catania by the Sicilian maritime commander, Rear Admiral Andrea Cottini, began the visit to Sicily at the maritime directorate of Catania where, accompanied by the maritime director, Rear Admiral Giancarlo Russo, he had the opportunity to meet the owners of the compartments and the Port Authority of Port of eastern Sicily.
Subsequently, in Augusta, Admiral Credendino visited the headquarters of the Sicily maritime command at the Terravecchia area and at theMilitary Maritime Arsenal of the megarese city accompanied by the director of the plant Rear Admiral Mauro Galliussi.
In the afternoon the visit continued at the Punta Izzo site, with a visit to the vaccination HUB created at the defense employee recreational club, and at the logistic sites of Pantano Danieli and the NATO wharf in Melilli. The Chief of Staff of the Navy also met with the representatives of the trade unions of the Defense sector and the Military representation.
