Last ship navigation Maestrale: left Ancona moors in Bari

Nave Maestrale greeted Ancona, after almost 4 days of rest in the port and many initiatives promoted in favor of the Marche capital.

Activities carried out with local schools, such as the guided tour of the ship, lectures on the great war and post-high school orientation for a future in the Navy.

During the break, the book “Nazario Sauro - History of an Admiral” was also presented, presented by Admiral Romano Sauro, while Admiral Pier Paolo Cagnetti spoke to high school students, with the conference 'Drawing the sea'. To complete, on the flight deck of the unit, an exhibition on the history of the Navy was set up, with a corner dedicated to the WWF with the Turtle Project.

WWF and also Telethon with which the Mistral has linked this Naval Campaign and with which the Navy reaffirms its social commitment, with the sale of Chocolate Hearts the proceeds will go to scientific research, for the treatment of rare genetic diseases.

The stop in Ancona ended with the going out to sea in favor of theNational Sailing Association of Italy and students.

This morning the ship moored in Bari, where it will stop until November 16.
