MM support for the people of Sarzana and Aulla

The navy, at the request of the municipalities of Sarzana and Aulla, intervened with rescue teams and specific means of support operations aimed at assisting the civilian population hit by flooding. The action was conducted in close coordination with local authorities and civil protection.

In particular, teams were formed by personnel from the helicopter station of Luni and CIMA Aulla, trained to intervene even in circumstances linked to natural disasters, contributing, with dedicated equipment, to the drying up of roadways, homes and private properties.
