The divers of the grouping divers and raiders - Comsubin and of the employees of the SDAI (Demining Defense Antimezzi Insidiosi) nuclei of Cagliari and La Maddalena, in competition with the minesweeper Gaeta, dependent on the command of the La Spezia - Maricodrag mine countermeasures forces, carried out clearance of nine devices identified as moored mines dating back to the Second World War and aircraft bombs still considered dangerous for navigation.

The activity, complex and articulated also in consideration of the proximity to the coast and the vast maritime area involved, made it necessary to use a coordinated ship. Gaeta and divers in over 90 dives in total, which allowed the removal and definitive reclamation of military devices.
