Vespucci ship parked in Valletta

After 11 years Nave Vespucci it returns again to the port of Valletta, in Malta, the last stop abroad of the education campaign in favor of the students of the 1st c lasse of the Naval Academy.

During the stop, the Maltese population showed great interest in the most beautiful ship in the world, which counted about 3000 visitors in a few hours. The local authorities also expressed their appreciation for the unit, starting with the ambassador of Italy in Malta and Fabrizio Romano, who visited on board, addressing his greeting and expression of esteem to the crew.

There was also the opportunity to organize the presentation of the book dedicated to the sailing ship "VESPUCCI - The mystery of time" in the presence of the author, the journalist Enrico Gurioli, who helped to spread the magnificence and uniqueness of a ship that for 91 years has represented Italy in the world, an ambassador of our values ​​and a witness to the excellence of Made in Italy, as well as the keeper of ancient traditions of the Navy.

Upon departure, the students will be subjected to the end-of-campaign exams, which will continue during the stops in Manfredonia, on 31 August, and Taranto, on 2-3 September.
