Ship Sentinella returns to the sea after the works

(To Marina Militare)
17/12/15

The coastal patrolman Sentinel a few days ago completed a stop work in the Timsah Shipbuilding Co. shipyard, in the port of Ismailia, in Egypt.

In the thirty-five days of rest, the processes followed one another in a very tight schedule, developed by Multinational Force and Observers (MFO) which finances the business. During the works, the ship was subjected to careening (cleaning, maintenance and painting of the hull) but numerous other technical interventions were also carried out.

A short but intense stop for one of the three patrol boats (Explorer, look-out e Sentinel) which constitute the Tenth Coastal Naval Group located in Sharm El-Sheikh and operating within the Multinational Force and Observers in Sinai (Egypt), in the context of the peace treaty between Egypt and Israel.
