MM: the helicopters of the Norman Atlantic rescue come back to the bases

At the end of the extraordinary commitment of the Navy vehicles and crews to rescue the Norman Atlantic ferry, helicopters with their pilots are returning to their bases in these hours.

A total of seven helicopters, of which three AB 212, three EH 101 and one SH 90 respectively coming from the air bases of Grottaglie, Catania and Luni with their flight crews, who were recalled by their licenses for the need.

The ship Durand De La Penne (equipped with helicopter), engaged in escorting and assisting the Norman Atlantic ferry towed by civilian tugboats, remains at sea in the lower Adriatic.
