Last night the Aliseo ship of the Italian Navy, included in the device for the safety of the central Mediterranean Sea, has rescued the fishing boat AL FATH, of which the Tunisian government had not heard about for ten days.
The fishing boat, located about 100 miles south east of Lampedusa, had its engine damaged and remained adrift in adverse sea conditions.
The six members of the Tunisian crew, found in good health, were assisted and fed.
Aliseo ship supported the damaged boat until the arrival of the Tunisian authorities.
