Navy: Palinuro school ship parked in Tivat and Kotor

Today the school ship Palinuro of the Navy has landed in Tivat, where it will stop until 29 June, and then reach Cattaro up to 01 July.

Wednesday 28 June, at 16: 30 local time, the commander of the ship, captain of frigate Giuseppe Valentini, will hold a press conference on board during which he will present the ship and the 2017 Education Campaign.

 The unit is currently engaged in the education campaign for the students of the 1 ° course of the Navy Military School "Morosini" of Venice, this training campaign for many of them represents the first contact with the sea and with the on board realities.

 In the period between mid-July and mid-September, the ship will host the students of the normal course marshals of the Officers' School of Taranto who will be engaged in learning the nautical and maritime sciences.

 The presence of a ship Palinuro in the waters and ports of Montenegro it aims to promote and consolidate the deep relationships that bind the Marines and the Armed Forces of the two countries.

Sailing enthusiasts and the simple curious will have the opportunity to visit the Unity:

  • Thursday 29 June from 10: 00 to 12: 00 at the port of Tivat;
  • Friday 30 June from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 1600 to 1900 at the port of Kotor.
