Military Navy and Fire Brigade together with the service of the community

A collaboration agreement between the Navy and the National Fire Brigade Corps was signed yesterday with the aim of increasing the knowledge of the respective organizations in order to identify collaborative activities of common interest and mutual benefit to enhance their respective capacities and put them at the service of the community.

The collaboration - signed by the Navy Chief of Staff, team admiral Giuseppe De Giorgi and the head of the National Fire Brigade, dott. ing. Gioacchino Giomi - plans to start activities of study, research, experimentation, training, joint training and operational use, within the respective institutional purposes, making available its staff and facilities.

The Navy expresses its capabilities and employs its men and means on a range of activities and operations ranging from social, humanitarian, environmental, scientific and all areas of interest of the community that together with the function purely military, they outline the dual-use capabilities in a broader sense.

The activities of urgent technical assistance and more generally of public assistance, together with those of fire prevention and fire prevention, are guaranteed in our country by the operational structures of the National Fire Brigade located throughout the national territory, active 7 days on 7, throughout the 24 hours.
