The president of INPS prof. Pasquale Tridico and the Chief of Staff of the Navy, Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, signed a memorandum of understanding for the establishment of the "National Navy Pole" during a ceremony held this morning at the Sala dei Marmi di Palazzo Marina. The establishment of the Polo marks the start of a collaboration relationship which aims to improve the services offered by the Institute to the Navy's military personnel.

The "National Navy Pole" will be operational from 1 October 2020 at the Provincial INPS Directorate of La Spezia and will centralize all the administrative obligations under the responsibility of INPS regarding the management of the insurance position, pension benefits, social security positions and credit management of small loans and multi-year loans relating to the personnel of the Navy of the entire national territory, thus consolidating an already established collaboration between the two institutions.

The Navy, in order to standardize the internal procedures and the timing of the provision of the pension to its staff, has already for some time centralized the management of the related practices at the retirement department of the Navy, operating under the direction of administration of Rome

The assumption of the responsibilities of the Hub will concern the policyholders who, as of 1 October 2020, will not appear to have submitted an application for pension benefits to INPS, or will transition from the auxiliary position to the reserve position, or for the purposes of severance pay service cease from service or submit a redemption request for TFS or credit performance purposes from the aforementioned date.

The initiative, thanks to the commitment of a progressive arrangement of the contribution drawers relating to the interested audience, will favor the streamlining of the procedures and investigations for the definition of the services requested by the users, with consequent savings in the management costs of the administrations involved.
