The last farewell of Nave Maestrale in Livorno. The arrival in La Spezia concludes the Naval Campaign

Mistral ship, left Livorno yesterday to make its last navigation to La Spezia. The ship, parked in Livorno since December 3, hosted numerous events and visitors on board.

Friday 4, during the day of Santa Barbara, prof. Gemignani thrilled visitors with a lecture on “The Royal Navy during the Great War”. The frigate, on Saturday 5th, was the backdrop to the oath of the students of the Naval Academy, standing at anchor, in front of the historic underground brig. A representative of the ship, together with the banner of Nave Maestrale, also took part in the oath in the yard.

During the stop, the unit remained open for visits with schools, ANMI groups and other organizations. Sunday 6, great success for the demonstration of the Italian School for Rescue Dogs. Many educational institutions that visited the frigate next to disarmament and were able to get information on guidance in the Navy.

After the stop in Livorno, the frigate carried out the last navigation before being disarmed. The unit will be moored by the 7 at the 10 December at the Molo Italia in La Spezia, where various activities have been organized to allow the public to greet the ship.
