Over the years Euromarfor has given ample demonstration of its effectiveness and flexibility of use both through training events and through its participation in real operations such as the operation Coherent Behavior in the Eastern Mediterranean in the 2002, the operation Resolute Behavior in the Indian Ocean from the 2003 to the 2005, the operation Impartial Behavior in the Eastern Mediterranean and off the coast of Lebanon under UN aegis between 2008 and 2009, and since 2011 it has been active in the anti-piracy operation Atalanta, under aegis EU in Indian ocean.
