Yesterday evening, the frigate Carabiniere of the Navy, during a patrolling activity in the Central Mediterranean as part of the Safe Sea Operation in the waters overlooking Libya, responded to a request for health support from the Italian fishing boat "Naucrates" of Mazara del Vallo (TP) for an injured seafarer.

The unit promptly reduced the distances and, just arrived near the fishing boat, sent its health team on board. During the fishing activity, a seafarer had accidentally fallen and injured himself, requiring the intervention of a doctor.
