The 28 June ended the 10 supplementary amphibious qualification course for Italian army personnel, which lasted four weeks and was divided into 2 phases.

The first phase took place at the Bafile barracks of the “Serenissima” lagoon regiment in Malcontenta (VE), where instructors from the “Caorle” schools battalion conducted theoretical and practical training lessons, among other subjects included in the study plan helicopter, practicing for the descent in fast rope and double rope from the daring tower.

The second phase took place in Brindisi on board the San Giusto ship, allowing the patrons to live full-time on the ship, also learning to use the disembarking vehicles of the San Marco navy brigade by making navigation and landings both tactical and logistical. with the boats, with the Gis, MDN and AAV-7.

In addition, numerous EH-101 helicopter releases were made both in fast rope and in double rope.

The course ended with a final “LIVEX” exercise which consisted of an NEO (non-combatant evacuation operation) in which the patrons disembarking with amphibious vehicles reported the evacuating personnel aboard the San Giusto where an ECC had been set up.
