Seven aspirants flight operators, belonging to the 74th course, completed the practical phase on the EH-101 aircraft at the full crew mission simulator (FCMS) of sea flight training and standardization center (CASVM) by Maristaeli Luni.
The training process was concentrated in 32 missions for each operator, totaling 336 flight hours. Three flight instructor operators, with decades of experience on the EH-101 helicopter, supported the trainees in the intense 20-week training period. The training, aimed at obtaining the patent aircraft specialist - flight operator, allowed participants to learn the procedures for using the helicopter's mission systems and to develop the practical skills necessary to operate in flight in all the missions assignable to the EH-101 helicopter.
Flight simulators are operational at the CASVM in Maristaeli Luni full crew mission simulator of the EH-101 and SH-90 helicopters and the forced ditching trainer (Helo Dunker trainer), structures that represent excellence in the field of simulation of the air forces of the Navy.
