In southern Sweden, the second edition of the "C-IED Bison Counter" exercise was recently completed, in which 21 nations participating in the EDA (European Defense Agency), the body of the European Union that has the task of strengthening the defense capacity of the countries of the Union.
The exercise took place in the military port and near the city Karlskrona.
Comsubin's EOD divers, together with the EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) and IEDD (Improvise Explosive Device Disposal) vessels, trained in the fight against explosive devices by simulating different scenarios, operating under the hulls of boats and inside different ships, as well as to the docks and moorings.
During the exercise were also tested techniques and equipment used in the "Military Search", the military capacity for environmental remediation of sensitive sites such as, for example, ports.
