On November 5th, forty-two aspiring ensigns from the Naval Academy of Livorno took part in the charity event of the Venaria Reale in Turin, the final evening of the XXII edition of 'Vienna sul Lago'. The event, important for the solidarity projects carried out in favor of people in need, was divided into various educational and cultural moments inspired by tradition and ethical values.

As per the twenty-year tradition, the protagonists of the evening were the young officers of the Academy who accompanied the debutant ladies, proudly representing the Navy in the role of Telethon ambassadors.

The presentation of this international charity event - already awarded with prestigious awards from the Presidency of the Republic - took place in Livorno on 6 October, by the Vienna sul Lago committee, on board theAmerigo Vespucci, the most beautiful school ship in the world.

After the cancellation of the previous edition, following the dramatic terrorist attacks of November 2015 in France, this year forty-two debutants - girls between 17 and 23 years of age - entered the hall of the Grande gallery of the Reggia this year, of which, for the first time , one of American nationality - accompanied by as many aspirants.
