Comsubin: "Diving in Porto Venere"

The appointment for eleven editions is in Porto Venere, the smallest municipality in La Spezia as well as UNESCO heritage. It is here that on the days of 28 and 29 July, the stage "Together in immersion in Porto Venere": Comsubin's drones and incursors, Marine Commanders and Incursors of the Navy, dived into the waters of the Byron cave along with 50 civilian submarines with physical and sensory disabilities.

At its XI edition, the diving stage is one of the largest underwater demonstrations carried out by Comsubin specialists, from disabled divers belonging to society Handicapped Scuba Association Italy (HSA), from Hospital Sub Group of La Spezia and the local municipal administration with the aim of making diving practice within everyone's reach.

An initiative of social inclusion able to combine the high professionalism of the Comsubin to the desire for challenge and revenge of the disabled divers, coming from all over Italy and aged between 50 and 20 years. An event able to give emotions, such as those that the participants live during the dive that begins at the foot of the rocky coast at a depth of five meters, and then continue along the side and reach the maximum depth that touches the twenty meters from the surface.

Present at the closing day of the stage and the delivery of certificates, as well as the Chief of Staff of the Navy, Admiral Valter Girardelli, Commander of Comsubin, Commander-in-Chief Paolo Pezzutti, also Minister of Defense Roberta Pinotti who in a note wrote:I'm happy that the Comsubin, a structure of excellence with enviable professionalism in the world, makes available its specialties in solidarity initiatives such as those I have participated today".
