Combat Medic Raiders qualify as Military Rescuer

The first conversion course of the US qualification has just ended in Rome, at the School of Health and Veterinary Medicine (SANIVET) of the military city of Cecchignola Special Operations Combat Medic (SOCM) in Military rescuer, organized by the Joint Forces Command for Special Forces Operations (COFS) in which 4 GOI Raiders participated.

The SOCM and the Military rescuer they are two courses aimed at attaining field or "combat" first aid skills, precious and life-saving skills that can make a difference when working alone and without a nurse or doctor in tow. The first, specifically addressed to Special Forces operators and conducted at US Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School (USAJFKSWCS) in North Carolina (USA), is a course of the highest professional value.

During the course, the attendees tried their hand at applying protocols Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) Basic Life Support - Defibrillation (BLS-D) and in individual and group practical tests in the shooting range of the Artale barracks, seat of the School of Health and Veterinary.
