316 Volunteers in Fixed Marine Navy swear allegiance to the Republic

316 Volunteers in fixed farm annual belonging to the 1 ° incorporation, they have today sworn allegiance to the Italian Republic in the Piazza d'Armi of the Officers' School of Taranto (Mariscuola), in front of the commander of the Navy Schools, team admiral Salvatore Ruzittu and of numerous authorities.

The family members of the volunteers, who came in large numbers from all over Italy, followed the ceremony with emotion, culminating in the moment in which the "I swear" ritual was pronounced, as a seal of the official entry of these young people into the big family marinara, from today also sharing in an indelible experience and precious guardians of those values ​​and those ideals that have always united Navy personnel.

Of the 224 volunteers in the "Nocchieri di Porto" category, 133 will leave immediately after the oath for the first destination of service, 40 will attend the specialization course in Installation Defense Service, while 51 will attend the specialization course in Master of Cuisine and Mensa.

The 92 volunteers in the "Sailors" category will instead continue to attend the course at the Caorle Schools Battalion in Brindisi.

The motto of the course is "IN FINE PRINCIPIUM" (from the end the beginning) and its name is Ianus, multi-faceted Latin divinity, which presents itself with two faces, since it can look at both the future and the past.
