In the Official Gazette of the Italian Republic - 4th special series - n. 55 of 13 July 2021, the call for tenders for the recruitment of VFP1 of the Navy for the year 2022 was published.
There are 2.000 places available, distributed as follows:
a) 1.400 for the Maritime Military Crew Corps (CEMM), divided as follows:
- 1090 for the "naval" sector;
- 120 for the "amphibian" sector of use;
- 60 for the "raiders" sector of use;
- 30 for the "divers" sector of use;
- 40 for the “submariners” employment sector;
- 60 for the sector of use "Aircraft component";
b) 600 for the Port Authority Corps (CP), distributed as follows:
- 594 for the various specialties, qualifications;
- 6 for the sector of use "Aircraft component".
The recruitment will be carried out on two blocks of questions, divided as follows:
- 1st block (for 1.256 places, of which 950 for the CEMM and 306 for the CP) whose application form can be submitted by the 14 July at 12 August 2021;
- 2st block (for 744 places, of which 450 for the CEMM and 294 for the CP) whose application form can be submitted by 7 January at 5 February 2022.
As part of the 1st block, it will be possible to request to be assigned naval CEMM and to the CP Corps or to one of the following sectors of use of the Special Forces and Specialist Components:
a) "CEMM amphibians";
b) "CEMM incursori";
c) "CEMM divers";
d) "CEMM submariners";
e) “Aircraft component” (CEMM or CP).
In the context of the 2nd block, however, it will be allowed to ask to be assigned exclusively to the naval CEMM and the CP Corps.
The submission of recruitment applications for both blocks is allowed, following the online procedure on the Defense portal, in compliance with the deadline dates established for each of them.
Candidates who are placed in a useful position in the merit rankings will be called to complete the following selective phases:
1) if you compete for the naval CEMM-CP sector of use, for the 1st or 2nd block, you will participate in a single phase at the Castrogiovanni Barracks in Taranto or at the Selection Center of the Ancona Marina , of an indicative duration of three days, including psycho-physical assessments and aptitude assessments;
2) if for the 1st block you compete for the sectors of use raiders, divers, amphibians, submariners and aircraft component, you will participate in the following consequential phases:
- 1a phase: of an indicative duration of two days, at the Navy Selection Center, located in Ancona, including psychophysical and aptitude assessments 1;
- 2a phase: of an indicative duration of two days, at the Selection Center of the Navy, located in Ancona, including physical efficiency tests and aptitude assessments 2, concerning the carrying out of a series of tests (which depending on the sector of use requested may consist of tests, questionnaires, performance tests, individual aptitude interviews), aimed at objectively assessing the possession of the requisites necessary for a positive insertion in the specific sector of employment;
- 3a phase: of an indicative duration of one day, at the health bodies indicated in the announcement, including specific psychophysical checks, to verify the possession of the specific psycho-physical fitness requirements necessary for the assignment to the relative sectors of employment of the Special Forces and Components specialist.
