Twenty-six foreign countries that attended the academic year ended today: Albania, Afghanistan, Algeria, Argentina, Brazil, China, South Korea, Egypt, Fyrom, France, Germany, Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Mozambique, Niger, Pakistan, United Kingdom, Senegal, Spain, Switzerland, Tunisia, Ukraine, Hungary and USA.

After explaining the work carried out during the academic year, Admiral Veri stressed that "It is now a shared opinion that education and more generally culture must be safeguarded, even in a difficult context, as a priority pillar of the system Country and, therefore, the resources allocated there must represent, without fear of denial, a certain investment for the present and the future of the country. The Center for Advanced Studies for Defense (CASD) is the leading joint organization in the field of advanced training, studies and research concerning national and international Defense and Security. The center hosts the courses of the High Defense Studies Institute, the Higher Institute of Joint Force Staff. The Military Center for Strategic Studies (Ce.Mi.SS) also operates alongside the training institutes, responsible for joint research in the fields of international relations, military sociology and high technology, in collaboration with Italian and foreign equivalent research centers. .
