Is slave trade an excuse to occupy rich Libya?

An agency (ANSA) has recently reported a statement by Ambassador Sebastiano Cardi, Permanent Representative to the Palace of Glass: "As announced by Foreign Minister Angelino Alfano, Italy welcomes the French proposal to hold a meeting of the Council of UN Security to discuss the issue of slave trafficking in Libya. "

The Cds meeting - of which Italy is the rotating chair - is scheduled today at the local 9, the Italian 15.

It seems to have returned to 2011, the atmosphere is the same: unconfirmed news (no one takes the trouble to check seriously, on the field) and wolves lurking on a prey: Libya.

But we look at the chronology of what appears to be the most recent plan accomplished through the media.

Two weeks ago CNN (dirty work is being done to others ...) triggers a campaign on a presumed slave traffic by buying color men for 800 Libyan dinars.

The news is rebounding and rebounding globally. France is the most active country in extending the scandal and asking for an intervention.

That there is a shortage of paid labor in Libya or that the purchase price of humans is calculated on the official and not the black swap that would make Africans buy for $ 80 (too little to be plausible) are not taken into account .

That France has hidden interests that will be at risk after the upcoming elections is not being considered.

Today Italy "welcomes the French proposal to hold an UN Security Council meeting to discuss the issue of slave trafficking in Libya."

Does the "slave trade" case occur in a country of anarchy without political representatives?

When it comes to looking for a government, Libya has for one year "recognized by the international community". Why then should we have recourse to the UN Security Council today?

Or because the internationally recognized government does not have the slightest authority among the Libyans.

Or why - as at the beginning of the 2011 some fictions served to others and certainly not for humanitarian purposes.

The bottom line, every day more obvious to those who do not want to turn around, is that sabotage the outcome of the upcoming elections by sabotaging the country. Render it fragmented and with a perennial presence of foreign troops for decades.

The intervention will almost certainly result in sending blue helmets. Each country will have its where to serve. And, unlike Lebanon, Libya is still a rich prey.

What makes you perplexing is yet another lending to the Italian game against France, the obvious director of this mess.

After we literally extracted from a bomb like a brother country we would have to defend, what should we safeguard today? IEN interests in Mellitah?

How many decades do we think to save at least the face?

A "Dignity Operation", such as that conducted by General Haftar in Libya (if not against fundamentalists, against those who steal our flag on a daily basis) when will we begin?
