Massimiliano Latorre and Salvatore Girone are being held hostage by India for around 900 days. Two governments have succeeded each other since the Monti government sent them back to India with the 22 in March 2013, perhaps even in contrast with specific constitutional constraints.

Clare and courageous position on that occasion, however, is not reflected in the inertia demonstrated in the management of the affair of the two maro, distinguished only by phrases of circumstance such as "soon a rapid and fair trial".
After the government Letta the executive chaired by Renzi. It seemed that we wanted to give a jolt to the story, both for the words of the premier at the time of the settlement and its proximity to the two maro demonstrated with a phone call, the first official act of his mandate.

The new Foreign Minister, however, from the first moments of his mandate seemed to want to deviate from the "secret diplomacy" of Bonino and want to proceed with concrete acts. In fact, he canceled the mandate of dr. Staffan de Mistura of Government Commissioner and announced repeatedly to want the internationalization of the case, starting an official arbitration. He has forgotten, however, at least until today to inform us about what has been done to activate international procedures, limiting itself to mere demagogic proclamations very similar to the phrases of Boninian memory "fast and fair trial".
The only international act so far known, in fact, is that of the appointment of non-Italian expert jurists!
The Foreign Minister breaks the silence together with his colleague of the Pinotti defense only when he has to inform the Italians that he has contacted the two marò by telephone or met Girone's wife and Latorre's partner.
The 4 July, in fact, an official statement tells us: "ROME - Foreign Minister Federica Mogherini and Defense Minister Roberta Pinotti have had a long meeting today - announced the Foreign Ministry - with the ladies Vania Ardito and Paola Moschetti for the periodic update on the proceedings concerning the two riflemen of Marina Salvatore Girone and Massimiliano Latorre. Information that rebounded in Delhi in all likelihood did not, however, convinced Latorre that the 6 July published on Facebook social a series of ellipsis, as if he had been speechless in the face of a feeling of abandonment by the State.Today silence is once again broken not to announce objective acts in favor of the two navy riflemen, but only to propose personal initiatives with the aim of demonstrating an interest that is not very constructive and only demagogic.
In fact, through the daily Il Tempo, we are aware of a call from Casini to the two maròs: "Il Tempo TELEFONATA DI CASINI" WE ARE NOT FORGET TO YOU ". Rome -" Today I heard our marò, I told him that there we are forgotten about them. The Prime Minister, the Foreign Minister, is all silent but active ". This was explained by Pier Ferdinando Casini, who returned from a weekend mission to the United States where he met the UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon. Phrases that are added to the river of empty words and without results that from that fatal 22 March 2013 have succeeded around the story of the two marines and that now only induce skepticism in those who still believe in national values and in the state. Costumes are tired of waiting.
The brothers Massimiliano Latorre and Salvatore Girone must be brought back to Italy and subtracted from the undue justice of a third State and must be made clear about who has delegated national sovereignty to another country!
