The Italian indoor athletics championships organized by the Italian Federation of Paralympic and Experimental Sports (FISPES).
Nourished team of athletes from Paralympic Defense Sports Group (GSPD) who, comparing themselves with the best Italian champions in their respective disciplines and categories, kept up the colors of the Defense excelling on the competition fields.
On the opening day, eight medals, four gold for col. ro Carlo Calcagni and the ten. with the. ro Giuseppe Campoccio in the discus throw, the sergeant. ro Moreno Marchetti in the javelin throw and Ndiaga Dieng in the 1500m dash; four Argent for the cap. ro Piero R. Suma and lgt. ro Vincenzo Contemi in the javelin throw, the 1st graduate Marco Pisani in the 60 meters and the ass. administrative Michele Ricciardi in the 1500m dash.
Saturday 25 February, six gold medals around the neck respectively of col. ro Carlo Calcagni and ten. with the. ro Giuseppe Campoccio in the shot put, of the cap. ro Piero R. Suma in discus and shot put, by col. ro Giuseppe Campoccio in javelin throwing and ass. administrative Michele Ricciardi in the 800m dash.
The GSPD athletes were unstoppable, who also won four silver medals and a bronze on the second day: col. ro Carlo Calcagni in the javelin throw, the lgt. ro Vincenzo Contemi and the sergeant. ro Moreno Marchetti in the discus throw and the lgt. ro Vincenzo Contemi in the shot put; Bronze Medal for Sgt. ro Moreno Marchetti in the shot put.
