Il Defense Paralympic Sports Team (GSPD) grows with the contracting of four new athletes of the highest competitive technical level recognized by the Paralympic Italian committee (CIP)
Today, the three-year sports employment contract was signed at the defense staff, which will see them protagonists of the next sports seasons among the ranks of the only Paralympic military sports group of the Dicastery.
Davide Bendotti in Alpine Skiing Standing, Christian Volpi in Canoe 200 metres, Daniele Cassiani and Giulia Pesci in Archery will represent and defend the colors of the Defense and the Italian national team in the most important national and international competitions, on the road that leads at the next Paralympic Games of Paris 2024 need Milan Cortina 2026.
The GSPD is therefore enriched by new leading figures in sport, who together with the ten sports professionals who had joined the group last December and athletes from military ranks, contribute to boosting and promoting the entire Paralympic Movement .
