The graduate chosen Francesco Defabiani, del Army Sports Center - winter sports section of Courmayeur, competing with Federico Pellegrino (Fiamme Oro), conquers the silver medal in the team sprint race of the World Championships in Planica, Slovenia.
“It was an incredible race, I was betting a lot on this race and the result was fully achieved. I feel proud to have added a further precious metal to the collection of the many Azzurri successes in these recent editions of the world championships in many disciplines".
To enrich the weekend of victories, the Italian team formed by corporal major Voetter and by the Parisian Oberhofer under the same sports center which, with the sum of the points accumulated in the races held, both in the sprint circuit and in the classic circuit of the women's doubles, won the crystal cup representing the top of the general classification of the discipline.
