The Naval Military School Francesco Morosini of Venice opens its doors to provide information on the now imminent call for applications for the 2016/2017 school year and to show the public life within the prestigious Institute. Morosini is equated to a secondary school where the pupils-students attend the last three years of the scientific or classical high school.
The Institute will be open to the public for two successive Saturdays (5 and 12 March), visitors will be able to enter at 09.30, 11.30 and 14.30, without booking.
La Naval Military School Francesco Morosini, together with the Naval Academy of Livorno and the Non-commissioned schools of Taranto and La Maddalena, it is part of the training institutes of the Navy. There Naval School provides a unique cultural baggage and experience, preparing students to face a successful path as Italian citizens, a new civil and military ruling class, with a deep-rooted concept of defense and security culture.
The students, in addition to the normal course of study, carry out numerous sports, especially based on seafaring activities, sailing, rowing, swimming and Venetian rowing.
The educational and training activity is completed with the summer education campaigns on board the ships of the Navy.
