Last sailing ship Maestrale: greeted by Ortona arrives in Trieste

After the stop in the port, Saturday 31 October, with the exit to sea for the students, the members of the National Association of Italian Sailors and the Naval League of Ortona and Pescara, the Maestrale ship greeted Ortona for the last time and Abruzzo. The day after the ship moored in Trieste, where it will remain until 5 November to meet the population and support scientific research.

The stop in Ortona was full of events, such as the conference on the Adriatic-Ionian macro region, with the intervention of the presidents of the Abruzzo region Luciano D'Alfonso, the Marche region Luca Ceriscioli and the Dubrovnik-Rageseo-Narentana region, Nikola Dobrislavic . Many meetings with students of all ages and citizens during the visits on board.

During the stop in Trieste the ship will be open to the population every day. It will be possible to visit it, attend conferences and presentations but also learn about the Navy's editorial offer. The Maestrale campaign is also a commitment to social and charitable fundraising. On board, in fact, visitors will be able to buy the Chocolate Heart of Telethon.
