The Maestrale frigate of the Navy, during its last navigation, arrived today at the port of Ortona. The stop, in addition to emphasizing the proximity of the Navy to the city, wants to offer the possibility to the citizens to visit the ship for the last time and to know its crew.
Tomorrow Maestrale will host the conference dedicated to Adriatic-Ionian macro-region while on 29 and 30 October conferences will be held in favor of local schools focusing on Great War Maritime Security.
On October 31, the ship, before finally leaving the Abruzzi waters, will make a trip to the sea dedicated to schools, to Italian Naval League and to National Sailors Association of Italy.
Particular attention will be paid to the social and to charity, on board the Mistral ship it will be possible to buy the "chocolate hearts" of Telethon, whose proceeds will be donated to the research of the cure of genetic diseases.
