Blue October in Chioggia: visits to the Mistral ship, Stands of the San Marco Brigade, performances

The Navy is present at the event Blue October with an exhibition stand of material and equipment supplied to the San Marco marine brigade and Maestrale ship in the port of Chioggia from 21 to 26 October, thus underlining the proximity to the city and the event.

Multi-purpose and versatile, the Maestrale frigate has taken part in all major military operations and humanitarian missions over the past 30 years, thus contributing to the security and defense of national interests at sea.

Blue October, organized bySpecial Company for the Port of Chioggia, From Venice Chamber of Commerce, together with the Navy, atNational Sailors Association of Italy and in the town of Chioggia, it stands as a real "sea festival" which aims to promote the maritime vocation of the city and its territory.

Today at 18:00 a meeting is scheduled between the ship commander Maestrale, frigate captain Giuseppe Rizzi, and the city at the council chamber of the Municipality.

The ship will then host the Holy Mass for sea workers on Sunday 25 at 11:00 and the awards for sailing events at 17:00.

The Mistral will be open to the public for visits on board at the following times:
- Friday 23 October from 10: 00 to 12: 00 and 15: 00 to 18: 00
- Saturday 24 October from 10: 00 to 12: 00 and 15: 00 to 18: 00
- Sunday 25 October from 15: 00 to 18: 00

There will be concerts of the Military Navy Band (Friday 23 at 10: 00 and 15: 00, Saturday at 17: 30) and platoon performance High Representation the 23 at 15: 00.
