Last Saturday, after a 4-day break, the Pakistani naval naval vessel PNS Alamgir left the naval station in Mar Grande, thus concluding her stay in the port of Taranto.

For this event, the Ambassador of Pakistan in Italy, Mrs. Tehmina Janjua and the Defense Officer Colonel Haseeb Gul, have reached Taranto and took part, together with the captain of the vessel, captain of vessel Faisal Amin, to some of the most important activities such as courtesy visits to local civil and military authorities and a visit aboard Garibaldi ship.

During the stop, the crew of the unit carried out cultural visits to the Aragonese Castle and the Old Town admiring the beauties offered by these places. A representative of the Pakistani crew visited the air-naval training center and the non-commissioned officers' school in Taranto where a football match was held against a local representative of the Italian navy held in a cordial and friendly atmosphere.

After the break, the ship Alamgir took part in a bilateral training activity with the destroyer Durand De La Penne in the Ionian Sea.
