Ship Driade of the Navy engaged in Fishing Supervision, on Saturday 5 December, he rescued a raft in distress north of the Libyan coast, recovering 133 migrants transferred to a second unit for the next landing in the port of Augusta.
Thanks to the helicopters on board, the Navy ships also allowed the discovery and location of all the vessels present in the area of operations and also guaranteed an adequate security framework for all the vehicles involved in the recovery operations of the castaways.
