The motopesca Aliseo, yesterday evening, he had in fact reported to the Navy unit, engaged in an Education Campaign of the 2 ^ class of the Naval Academy of Livorno and in collaboration with the "Safe Sea" device, the approach of an unidentified patrol boat to the own position. Ship Luigi Durand de la Penne activated the intervention of one of his helicopters and began approaching the position of the fishing boat at maximum speed. At the same time, communications were initiated with the Italian diplomatic authorities in Tunis and the Operating Center of the Tunisian Navy.
These actions have made it possible to clarify the situation and as a result the motor boat has moved away from the area.
The event confirms the effectiveness of the naval device of the Navy in the central Mediterranean as a tool for the protection of national productive interests and activities in full collaboration with the authorities of the riparian countries.
