The navy at the 54 ° Genoa Boat Show

From the 1 to the 6 October the navy is present in Genoa at the 54ª edition of the boat show with a promotional stand including a dashboard simulator and an exhibition of various naval models.

The public and young people in particular can discuss and establish a dialogue with specialists (pilots, flight operators, raiders and divers) to learn about the current reality of armed force and the many opportunities for training and career offered.

At quay H inside the boat show there is also the hydro-oceanographic ship Aretusa, belonging to the Ninfe class, which, with its 31 crewmen, every year carries out hydrographic campaigns aimed at updating the nautical documentation, of the seabed, to the study of the chemical-physical parameters of the waters and to the characterization of the seabed, also in collaboration with research institutions and institutes in the context of multi-purpose and 'dual' activities. At the end of the boat show, the ship will head to the waters north of Sardinia to resume the 2014 Hydrographic Campaign.

The hydro-oceanographic vessel is open to visits on board every day from 10: 00 to 12: 00 and 14: 00 to 18: 00.
