The students of the 1 ^ class of the Naval Academy, aboard Palinuro ship and of the sailing ships of the Navi School Group, stopped in La Maddalena, from 18 to 20 in August.

Nave Palinuro was moored at the 'Poste' wharf in the center of the town. The arrival of the units in the port was marked by a warm welcome from the local population and tourists, the visits on board proved to be an event not to be missed. In the days of 18 and 19 August alone, more than five thousand visitors were registered on board the Palinuro.

On the morning of the 20 August the 'sailing ship' of the Navy presented, with the participation of Marevivo and the Latina Mora and Velieri Vela Latina associations of La Maddalena, the ninth edition of the 'Veleggiata a vela vela' that will take place on the 26 and 27 September between Bonifacio and La Maddalena, on the route known as the smugglers' route.
