Yesterday, Captain Jon Ivar Kjellin, commander of the Norwegian Naval Academy, accompanied by a delegation of officers and teachers, visited the Naval Academy of Livorno.

The visit was organized downstream of the 20th European Superintendents Conference, held at the Annapolis academy last September, during which different affinities between the two training institutes emerged.

They were welcomed by the commander of the Naval Academy, who illustrated the organization of the Institute and then led the delegation on a short but meaningful visit, during which the structures used in the training of visitors were demonstrated, including the underground brig. and the bridge simulator.

During the meeting many interesting ideas emerged for establishing fruitful and innovative cooperation in the basic training sector.
