The pilots of the Navy awarded at the US Navy flight schools

Last week, four Navy lieutenants Filippo Montagno, Alessandro Tucci, Giulia Pavon Cordaro and Michele Mocavero, who attend US Navy flight schools in Florida, received the 'wings of gold' flight license.

The ceremony was organized by training air wing 5 at NAS Whiting Field (Milton, Florida).

Among the four officers, Lieutenant Alessandro Tucci obtained the Commodore's List With Distinction, prize awarded to the best flight course attendants Our officer, in particular, concluded the training with the second highest score, among the more than 600 certified attendants, mainly from the United States.

A few days before the ceremony for the delivery of the gold wings, other officers of the Navy were awarded, among them the ensign Pietro Inzerillo, who was awarded the Academic Achievement, for the brilliant results obtained in the studies and the complementary pilot student Andrea Colombo, who obtained the Commodore's List for the ability demonstrated in flight aboard the T6B Texan II aircraft.
