The launch from C130 is an important step in the training and development of operational capabilities for the introduction of advanced reconnaissance units and acquisition of objectives of the Marina San Marco Brigade.

Maintaining and perfecting the specific operational skills acquired by the staff of the Paratrooper Swimmers Company of the Brigade makes it possible to maintain a level of training and operational readiness for a wide range of missions including reconnaissance, three-dimensional fire support (naval, air and land) , the acquisition of targets and the demolition of obstacles. Features that distinguish the extremely thick operating level.

The technique used for the aviolancio was that of the bond rope that allowed the Le Marco del San Marco to launch from the C130 which took off from Brindisi's military airport. A single flight, with eight passes, released the Fucilieri di Marina in front of the Salento coasts of Casalabate, in the province of Lecce, where the surface vehicles of the Landing Group were ready for recovery.

With the consolidation of this peculiarity, the Marina San Marco Brigade is preparing to use the sky as an effective and rapid means of intervention and insertion to face the challenges of the increasingly complex international scenario.
