They took place on board the ship from 14th to 16th September Vespucci, the end-of-campaign exams for the students of the 1st class of the Naval Academy of Livorno, the last evaluation test for the 2022-2023 Academic Year.

Ship Vespucci since 1931 it has had the task of training and instructing future naval officers, who embark at the beginning of the summer to experience their first encounter with the sea and life on board. The end-of-campaign exam seals the completion of an intense journey, made up of seamanship, planning and navigation, meteorology, logistical-administrative aspects, safety and propulsion systems but also elements of medicine. The intention is to convey to every student, regardless of their corps, the fundamental principles that animate the work of the on-board services and departments. The captain of the ship presides over the examination commission, supported by the class commander and the nautical teacher.

With so much grit and determination, the students have given their best in recent months and today on the Cassero they have left an indelible moment on the pages of their careers. Today the first year's training course ended, coinciding with the entry into the Academy of the new first class. This is the beginning of an exciting new phase for the newly formed Hurakan course!
