Course for amphibious shooters (TSA) at the Caorle schools battalion

24/10/14

The Caorle schools battalion of the San Marco marine brigade was chosen to enable the staff to come from the various operational departments of their brigade to become amphibious (TSA) marksmen.

The training line of the course was modulated with particular attention to the study of training scenarios in which the "students" were immersed.

An important aspect that has never been lacking throughout the course of the course is that linked to the "level of stress induced" towards the participants in order to get them used to working, with clarity and coldness, in all conditions.

The 10 course-goers were trained by qualified personnel for the use of precision weapons in a terrestrial environment and by a mobile platform, such as navy ships and helicopters.

The training, which ended 17 on October 2014, lasted five weeks, and was divided into two modules: one terrestrial, three weeks, and one naval, of 2 weeks.

The aim of the course is to train the soldiers in precision shooting, achieving a professional level of excellence.
