The ceremony for conferring the blue beret from Palombaro was carried out on board the unit in order to highlight the strong link existing between the marine operators and the Anteo; a combination capable of expressing excellence in many sectors, from relief situations to submarines in difficulty to deep-sea operations for every state department.
For this reason, on Friday 28 November, on the flight deck of the Anteo ship, in the presence of the commander of COMSUBIN, of the Underwater Operative Group, of a crew representative and of the underwater unit of the unit, of the National Diving Association on leave and of the patent family members, six sub-chiefs of the strict selection of the ordinary course were awarded the long-awaited diver license to wear the blue beret of the historic category.
