A multinational delegation from the Alti Studies for Defense Institute was received today at the Palazzo Arsenale, the headquarters of the Army Training Command and Application School.
Twenty-one military and civilian executives, attending the 68 ^ session at the Rome-based inter-force training organization, had the opportunity to get to know the activities carried out by the Study Center on the Post-Conflict, a reality of excellence of the Application School .
The delegation led by division general Nicola Gelao, director of the Institute, was welcomed by the commander of the School, division general Claudio Berto, and by the director of the Center, Brigadier General Antonio Pennino.
Observers from Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Argentina, China, Egypt, France, Jordan, Macedonia (FYROM), Lebanon, the Netherlands, Peru, Slovenia and the United States have focused their attention on real cases of stabilization and reconstruction carried out by the 'Army in territories torn by conflicts of different scope.
The restoration of security in Afghanistan, the subject of specific study, has aroused particular attention by those present due to the peculiarity of the Italian approach to issues of strategic importance.
The visit further consolidated the reciprocal collaboration between Institutes that pursue common objectives in the formation and professionalization of the national military and civil leadership, of Allied Countries and friends.
