(To Greater Defense)
15/09/17

It ended today the Vigorous Warrior, the health exercise held in Germany from 3 to the 15 September, and involving over one thousand military forces of the NATO Armed Forces and some partners.

In the morning, inter-force and multinational health teams, who have been trained side by side in the past two weeks, have been engaged in a final exercise. The trial consisted of multiple activations, in which more injured were to be recovered and stabilized on the battlefield by "ambulance team" and then transported and hospitalized in the ROLE 2 field hospital wards.

The final exercise coincided with the Distinguished Visitors Day, where numerous civil and military guests attended the demonstration phase and visited the various structures. There are also many Defense Officers - NATO and non-NATO countries - Military Medical Directors as well as representatives of the academic and institutional world.

For Italy there were Deputy General Director of Military Health (IGESAN), Division General Nicola Sebastiani and Military Defense Attaché, Air Force Brigade Danilo Morando. General Sebastiani, after attending the final test and visiting the facilities set up, met with the Italian and the Multinational Medical Joint Training Center (M2JTC), to which he expressed his satisfaction: "The M2JTC is a clear example of interagency and multinational structure that is gaining international success. Having a Center capable of training and validating health teams, made up of staffs and media from different countries making it fully operational, allows us to look beyond the Vigorous Warrior and refer to it as a reference in the international context". The same satisfaction was expressed by the evaluating direction of the exercise which he reported in his final judgment "M2JTC is leading multinational training towards the future"
