The General Secretariat of Defense and National Armaments Directorate (Segredifesa) is present at the "Defence and Security Equipment International" (DSEI) exhibition, inaugurated at the Excel Exhibition Center in London, promoted by the British Ministry of Defense and the UK Defense and Security Exports.

The event, one of the largest and most important Defense exhibitions globally in the 5 domains, unfolds across 8 Halls and sees the participation of over 1.500 exhibitors, a "warship display (UK, GER, NDL, BEL) ” and 36 national pavilions with the participation, for the first time, of North Macedonia and Qatar. A delegation from Segredifesa, led by the deputy secretary of Defense and deputy national director of armaments, team admiral Pier Federico Bisconti, testified to the country's support for our industries in the Defense and Security sector, through meetings with military authorities and with the management of 24 Italian exhibiting industries, with the aim of guaranteeing the continuity of institutional relationships and seizing the opportunities offered by the international exhibition.

Within the DSEI, a Statement of Intent was also signed between the UK Defense and Security Export (UKDSE), represented by the director Mark Goldsack, and the III department of Segredifesa, represented by the director, Major General Rodolfo Sganga, as a document descending from the "Memorandum of Understanding on Bilateral Cooperation between the president of the council of the ministers of the Italian Republic and the prime minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland", signed on 27 April 2023 by the respective prime ministers. The intent of the document is to develop greater cooperation to support the promotion of the respective national industrial sectors relating to the Defense sector. The objective, therefore, is to increase their respective capabilities and industrial cooperation, through regular meetings, aimed at identifying common objectives in the defense industry sector and shared export strategies, also promoting synergies with the industrial base and European technology.
