(To Army Majority State)

In this period, the department is engaged in training the newly assigned VFP1, a demanding but at the same time exciting task for the regimental cadres who are forging the new levers of the unit that will have to reinforce the operating companies shortly thereafter.

The commitment of the "mountain people" was made concrete by the close collaboration between the 3rd mountain regiment and the 2nd flock of Rivolto, the Italian Air Force missile center for national defense and the home of the Frecce Tricolori. The synergy between these two splendid realities led to a three-day training session within the Rivolto airport grounds, where a base camp was set up for their overnight stay. The activity included RAI (Immediate Automatic Reaction) operations with the use of mortars, the formation of autocolumns and the operational training of the JTAC (Joint Tactical Air Control) qualified personnel of the 3rd regiment that carried out CAS (Close Air operations). Support), using the AMX aircraft overflying the 51st flock, which conducted simulated reconnaissance and ground attack exercises.

Rewarding activities for both the Army and the Air Force, from which derive training synergies that were well underlined by the commander of the 3rd terrestrial artillery regiment (mountain), Colonel Romeo Tomassetti, and by the commander of the 2nd flock, Colonel Andrea Amadori, to the commander of the Alpine Brigade Julia General Alberto Vezzoli, visiting a few days ago, to the young soldiers engaged in the activity.

Once again, it has been confirmed that collaboration between different Armed Forces is one of the main objectives of the brigade to increase the wealth of experience necessary for young soldiers to be able to live up to the tasks that await them.

The training activity was sealed by the passage in formation of three Frecce Tricolori aircraft, also in training for two new grafts in the National Acrobatic Patrol supported by the head of training Pony 1.
