The undersecretary Alfano, after greeting the authorities present and before declaring the course open, said:

I would like to remind you that at the Celio Military Hospital, where the collaboration agreement was signed between the Ministry that I represent and ENEA, the energy survey of the hospital complex infrastructure is being completed which, thanks to the invaluable contribution of the professionalism provided by ENEA, it will lead to the implementation of an efficiency program capable of significantly reducing expenses and harmful emissions due to the use of energy, enhancing the capacity of the military structure itself.

The Energy Management training course - specifies the undersecretary - is the first course on this topic at the interforce level and represents a unique opportunity to amplify the effects of synergy between the FAs, in the common interest of reducing expenses and contributing to the improvement of environmental conditions. At the end of the course - adds Alfano - visitors will not only be able to prepare energy analyzes, but will also train employees themselves. With this course and with those that we will organize in the future with ENEA, we begin to provide the appropriate professionalism to set up the structure responsible for the supervision, management and optimization of the energy efficiency processes of the Defense infrastructures.
