The "Folgore" parachute brigade and the 46th Pisa air brigade have recently participated in the "Swift Response 23", a NATO training event dedicated to air troops.
The Italian participation saw the use of assets of the 183rd parachute regiment "Nembo" and of the parachuting training center, personnel of the 8th "Folgore" sappers regiment and a C-130J of the 46th air brigade.
The multinational exercise, which took place between the Zaragoza airport and the training area of San Gregorio, in Spain, had the objective of improving the capabilities of conducting airborne operations and increasing interoperability with allied partners.
